My arm is still aching.
Practice has been a bitch this last week, my shoulder still hurts after that game against the Mayhem. This week we play the all mighty Grafton Grizzlies, so don't be too surprised if I have a bad game. It seems very unlikely that my shoulder will be at 100% when I take the field come Sunday. The Grafton Grizzlies went undefeated last season, and scored a record 485 points. Where as the Republicans only scored a measly 395 and went 10-2. Part of the reason for the Grizzlies' success was they managed to get Rudy Mold in a trade. Rudy Mold is one of best receivers that ever played the game; the Republicans could had Rudy Mold, but they blew it, and opted to hang on to their number two draft pick. I'm still bitter about it. If I had Rudy Mold as a receiver, I would go undefeated every season, instead I'm surrounded by young, inexperienced talent.

We lost the game.
It was just as I feared, we lost to the Mayhems 49-13. I threw four interceptions, two of which were returned for touchdowns. Our horrendous defense gave up 512 yards of offense to the Mayhem. I told you not to get your hopes up, but you did, and now every one is depressed. If you wouldn't have gotten to excited, you wouldn't be so depressed at this very moment. Man, my shoulder is killing me. I think I might have injured myself on the third play in the game, when I was sacked for a twenty yard loss. That might explain why I threw four interceptions. OH, my arm!
Don't get too excited!
Today, we play our first game of the season, and to tell you the truth I don't like our chances. We're playing a team called the Milwaukee Mayhem; that name alone sends shivers down my spine. Who would you pick to win in a fight a team called the Mayhem or the Ozaukee Republicans? How can we even hope to compete with a team with such an intimidating name? I wouldn't be surprised if I throw at least two interceptions in this game. I'm just saying to get your hopes. Well, the game starts in three hours, I better prepare myself for the worst.
